The Red Cross would like to encourage the public to use
the handy "I'VE GOT 7" checklist
to be prepared for winter weather. The seven items to keep in your
emergency kit at home are:
Water and food that won't spoil
Change of clothing and blanket for each person
Traning (First Aid, CPR and preparedness
Medications and/or eye glasses
Cash - ATMs don't work when the power is out
Battery-powered radio and flashlight with extra batteries
Items for infants, elderly, disabled family members and pets |
